A little history
Southborough was first settled in 1660 and was set off from Marlborough, Framingham, Westborough and Sudbury as its own town, incorporated in July 1727.
Construction of the Fayville Dam in 1898 created the Sudbury Reservoir for the Boston water supply, ending the mill manufacturing that had run along local brooks.
