Boothe Memorial Park and Museum
A 32-acre town park in the Putney section with about twenty distinct structures the Boothe family built on the property over the early 20th century, including a carriage house, a miniature lighthouse, a windmill, a clock tower museum and Connecticut's last remaining highway toll booth. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Stratford was founded in 1639 by Puritan settlers and was formally named for Stratford-upon-Avon, England, in 1643.
