A little history
Plymouth was settled by English colonists who arrived on the Mayflower in 1620, and served as the capital of Plymouth Colony until it merged with the Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1691.
The town is the site traditionally associated with the first Thanksgiving, held in the fall of 1621.
