A little history

Boxborough was incorporated as a town on February 25, 1783.

On April 19, 1775, 21 men from Boxborough mustered at the Boaz Brown house on Hill Road before marching to Lexington and Concord; town fifer Luther Blanchard was wounded at the North Bridge.

The Boxborough Historical Society opened the Boxborough Museum on Middle Road on October 16, 2005.
